One option that is often overlooked is the use of Layout Compenent References. These are a very useful way to make sure that reports are kept in line.
For example - say you've got a logo that you want to use in several reports. You can create a "library" report, which you can save in a location that all of your reports can get to, with that logo in. Then in your subsequent reports you can use a Layout Compenent Reference to that logo. That way, if your logo changes, you can change the logo in the library report and it will flow through to the others.
There are a couple of gotchas to bear in mind. When you save the logo in the library report, make sure that you give it a name...if you don't you won't be able to reference it.
